Christmas 2010

We had Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's home.  We had a nice dinner and then exchanged gifts.  Christmas Day we relaxed all day and then drove up to Midway for dinner that night.  Julie, Ty's sister and her family were in town so they were there as well as his brother Kabe and sister Jana and her family.

 We took Sisley to Disneyland for her 5th Birthday.  This is all of us with Ariel.

Ok, Ok, we'll do a blog.

Tamsyn forced me to use our blog. We originally created it for when Mom and Dad were on their mission but stopped when they got home. Now we'll do it for the Carters.

Griffin had his 4 month check-up and is 16 lbs.!!!!!  He is a happy, calm baby.   It's amazing how much he looks like Mimi did when she was his age.

Mimi wants to do, say, wear, eat, etc. everything Sisley does.

Sisley is looooooving kindergarten.  She is learning some Halloween songs for a program they're putting on for the parents this week and it's so cute and fun when she practices them at home.  Mimi sings along.

Tamsyn,  Mimi was wearing the little green corduroy with flowers dress that you gave us a while ago and a lady in the ward said that her little girl, who is now 14, used to wear that exact dress.  It gave her a moment of sad/fun nostalgia.

Ty is in California right now for two days.  He is gone about every other week for a few days.

I am a busy, busy girl lately.  There are some days when from the moment I'm woken up at 6:45 to the moment I fall asleep around 10 I am doing something for one of my kids or for Ty or for Sisley's school or for one of my callings.  I really cherish those days when it all works out that Sisley is at school and both Mimi and Griffin are sleeping and Ty is out of town.  ME TIME
